Rabbi Dovid Cohen’s Endorsement

I have been asked by the author to write a haskama/michtav bracha to his monumental work concerning Rav Chaim of Volozhin’s understanding of the kabbalistic doctrine of TZIMTZUM. I can undertake the second part of the author’s request, since I have no mastery of kabbalistic writings.

Rav Avinoam Fraenkel is certainly deserving of a michtav bracha. The lucidity is outstanding and even my reading of his introduction inspired me.

Rav Fraenkel’s work shall certainly expand the conceptions and weltanschauung of the reader. His translation and elucidation of the Nefesh HaChaim is outstanding. I bless him that he continues in his avodas hakodesh and find hatzlocho in all his endeavors.
